A distance education program designed to provide "university-style approach to workplace education and training" for Ford auto plant workers. Developed at the University of Michiagan the Institute for Labor and Industrial Relations (ILIR), and the UM-Dearborn College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters, the program is now centered at University of Michigan-Dearborn. Records include material on the founding of the program and some curiculum material.
